Cancellation & Refund Policy

At Pilot Notary Services, we value your time and aim to provide efficient and reliable online notary services. We have established the following cancellation and refund policy to ensure a seamless experience for all our clients.

 

Appointment Deposit:

When you schedule your notary appointment, a deposit of $35 is required to secure your preferred time slot. Upon completion, this deposit will be deducted from the total cost of your notary service. Payment of the deposit confirms your appointment.

 

Cancellations & No Shows:

Notification of Cancellation:

If you need to cancel your appointment, we kindly request that you notify us at least 4 hours in advance. Timely cancellation allows us to offer the appointment slot to another client needing our services. You can contact us via phone at 313-326-5606 or email at kellan@pilotnotary.com.

 

No-Shows:

A "no-show" occurs when the signer fails to attend a scheduled appointment without prior notification or cancels with less than 4 hours notice. In such cases, the appointment deposit will be forfeited for a no-show or late cancellation. We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, and we will send you a reminder about the missed appointment and offer an opportunity to reschedule.

 

Refunds

Refund Eligibility:

Once notary services have been provided, they may not be eligible for a refund due to the nature of the service; this includes completed notarizations or notary acts that have been executed and finalized. Refunds will only be considered for payments made in advance for notary services that have not yet been rendered.

 

Refundable Circumstances:

  • Appointment Cancellation: If you provide a minimum of 4 hours’ notice for appointment cancellation, any payment made in advance will be eligible for a refund.

  • Service Unavailability: If we cannot fulfill the notary service due to unforeseen circumstances or issues on our end, a full refund will be provided.

 

Refund Request:

All refund requests must be submitted via email to kellan@pilotnotary.com within three days from the original payment date. Refunds will be processed using the original payment method. Please allow a reasonable processing time for the refund to appear in your account. The timeframe for the refund to appear may vary depending on your financial institution.
